How can I protect my PCB design from PCB manufacturers?

I recently finished my PCB design files and had to release to manufacturer for order production, but I am really worry about file confidentiality leaking. How can I in this case?

If we place a turnkey PCB assembly order to China , you will have to provide them with all the assembly documentation such as

A) BOM

B) Gerber image files for the PCB

C) Programming for Firmware (PROMs or programmable logic devices).

They are very important for product development. So, please

  • Lock these file by the encryption system by a specific password.
  • Only share them to somebody required.
  • Limit the times of opens, file copies, the times of sends and times of screenshots.
  • Use document safety application program to trace any operation on your secret files, such as printing and copying.
  • Sign up confidentiality agreement with manufacturers.
