How is the Aluminum Clad PCB panel panel separated after assembly?

This might sound trivial, but I only have experience with standard PCBs. I need to design LED tube PCB and is only 20mm wide, so there will be at least 10 pieces next to each other on one panel. How to design Aluminum Clad PCB panel - how is the panel separated after assembly

You can have them milled and V-grooved in a similar way to the way it is done on FR4 PCBs.

The edges where they are separated from where the V-groove was will not be smooth, the other edges will be smooth.

If you require all the edges to be smooth you can have them milled out entirely and insert them into carriers for assembly.

What Others Are Asking

How do you usually organize SMT parts during PCB assembly?

Suppose one is hand-assembling a board with many SMT components. Unlike THT, SMT components are often not labeled. How might one keep small (<100) quantities of such parts properly organized during assembly? Are there particular tools? Storage devices? Methods?

Are SMT components bad for high voltage applications?

Many assembly factories are asking for SMT jobs, while I think through hole would be a better option for a high voltage application. Before the high voltage project is started, we need to make a call on SMT or Through hole parts. Is there a study on this?
