Why is every phone getting rid of its headphone jack?

Headphone jack was very popular in last decades, but this trend seems fade recently. What is going on?

  • It can combine with the recharging port.
  • It also needs to be on the edge of the board poking out.if the case, which limits your PCB design.
  • Now, Bluetooth chips are so cheap, low power and tiny that Bluetooth headphones can replace them in some degree.
