How can we move a medical product from one SMT PCBA line to another?

I placed order of which the medical product is just in the step of board assembly, not a finished device. They need to go to other product line for finalize the whole goods. How can I take care of this process across two suppliers?

First, make sure you customers can accept movement, especially for bulk buyers. If just for retail consumers, it is OK to do that.

Second, the FAI should have not just one parts. One is for the former line, the other is for the latter line.

Third, each of FAI should be passed functional test.

Fourth, keep evidence to trace back. Since PCBA lines have changed, unit quality data of each process should be keep record, including lot number.
